IMPORTANT NOTE:
Hyperbaric oxygen therapy is not recommended for individuals with a history of COPD, seizures, or claustrophobia.
Please consult with our team if you have any health concerns prior to booking.
What Exactly Is Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy?
Oxygen is the fuel your cells need to run properly, but when you are injured, sick, or not feeling your best, your cells aren’t getting enough oxygen to run optimally. That's where our hyperbaric chambers come in.
While you are relaxing in one of our comfortable, pressurized chambers, the pure oxygen under the increased pressure helps to dissolve up to 20 times more oxygen into your bloodstream than normal. This oxygen-rich blood then travels throughout your body, reaching areas that might have been starved for oxygen due to injury, poor circulation, or inflammation. By providing your cells with oxygenated blood, incredible healing begins to occur.
The experience is incredibly relaxing, and many of our clients use the time to catch up on reading, listen to music, or take that time to rest.

Why MDRN Wellness Does HBOT Differently
With the increasing awareness of hyperbaric oxygen therapy, chambers are becoming more popular and can be found in many wellness clinics. However, what makes MDRN Wellness different is that HBOT is central to what we do, and we've invested in the technology, training, and expertise to do it right.
What Can HBOT Help With?
The list keeps growing as more research comes out, but here are some of the areas where we've seen outstanding results:
Concussions and Brain Injuries
Inflammation or post-concussive symptoms from sports, accidents, or other trauma can be challenging to navigate. However, the good news is that the brain has an amazing ability to form new pathways around damaged areas. HBOT supports this process by delivering crucial oxygen to the damaged areas, helping to reduce inflammation and support the brain during the healing process.
Memory and Focus Problems
Brain fog, difficulty concentrating, and memory issues seem to be common these days, and there are numerous reasons that individuals suffer from these issues. However, with better oxygenation in the brain tissue, these symptoms often improve.
Persistent Headaches
Improved circulation and reduced inflammation can be a game-changer for some people, especially those who suffer from migraines that don’t respond well to other treatments.
Chronic Pain Conditions
Conditions such as fibromyalgia, complex regional pain syndrome, and arthritis are often side effects of inflammation and poor circulation. HBOT addresses both.
Sports and Exercise Injuries
For years, athletes have been using HBOT to speed recovery from sprains, strains, and other soft tissue injuries. The increasing competitiveness in high school and college sports has led to a rise in injuries at that level as well. HBOT significantly helps these players recover from their injuries and return to the game.
Surgical Recovery
Healing from surgery puts enormous demands on your body. With the help of HBOT, you can be assured that your tissues are getting the oxygen needed to heal quickly and reduce the risk of post-surgical complications.
Chemotherapy, Cancer, and Hypoxia
Cancer cells often grow and thrive in hypoxic or low-oxygenated environments and can cause treatment resistance. Research indicates that HBOT significantly increases the amount of dissolved oxygen in plasma, enhancing oxygen delivery to the tissues, including tumors. This can improve the effectiveness of treatments and therapies, including chemotherapy, radiation, phototherapy, and immunotherapy.
Fighting Fatigue
When your cells aren't getting enough oxygen, fatigue sets in. With HBOT, many of our clients report significant improvement in energy.
Supporting Immune Function
Well-oxygenated tissues result in a stronger immune system that works better. This increased function can help with everything from fighting off viruses and infections to better management of autoimmune conditions.
Healthy Aging
While we can't stop time, we can help your cells function optimally as you age. Better circulation, reduced inflammation, and improved healing all contribute to a longer life and aging more gracefully.
We work with people dealing with a wide range of conditions, including autoimmune disorders, cardiovascular issues, diabetes-related complications, and more. We have clients with autoimmune disorders who have seen great benefits from consistently using our HBOT.
How HBOT Works
More Oxygen, Where You Need It
The increased chamber pressure allows up to 20 times more oxygen to dissolve directly into your blood plasma, not just attach to red blood cells. This means oxygen can reach areas where circulation might be compromised.
New Blood Vessel Formation
With improved oxygenation, our body responds by growing new blood vessels. This improves circulation and helps areas that were previously underserved.
Inflammation Control
Chronic inflammation is on the rise and is at the root of so many health problems. HBOT has powerful anti-inflammatory effects and can drastically help to reduce some of these issues.
Stem Cell Activation
Stem cells are our body’s natural repair cells and are crucial to overall health. According to the latest research, HBOT can increase the number of circulating stem cells by several times the normal levels.
Infection Fighting
Many harmful bacteria can't survive in high-oxygen environments. This is why HBOT has been used for decades to treat certain types of infections.
What's a Session Actually Like?
Before You Start
You’ll meet with one of our practitioners to review your health history and discuss your goals for HBOT. Not everyone is a good candidate, so we want to ensure that it will be beneficial to your health and condition. Then, you'll receive a tour of our facility and have the opportunity to see the chamber up close. We want you to feel completely comfortable before your first session.
During Treatment
Don’t worry about feeling trapped or claustrophobic. Our chambers are spacious and feature small clear windows that allow you to see out, while we can see in. Plus, there is constant communication available. Sessions typically run 60 minutes, and the pressure changes are gradual and well-tolerated by most people. You may experience some ear pressure (similar to when taking off in an airplane), but we'll teach you easy techniques to manage it. It's quite peaceful once you get accustomed to it, and many clients use the time to relax, read, listen to music, or even take a nap.
How Many Sessions?
This will depend entirely on what is being treated and how you respond to it. Some clients notice improvements after just a few sessions, while others may require more sessions to fully experience the benefits. We're always upfront about treatment expectations based on current research and our clinical experience.
